Just Pole @ the Wai`anae Christmas Parade!


Aloha Polers and Pole Supporters!  We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and were able to spend it with your wonderful families and poles!  We were very excited to be able to share our love for Pole Fitness in the recent Wai`anae Christmas Parade!!!

The Wai`anae Christmas Parade is all about promoting health and fitness from all types of formats which is why we were welcomed with open arms to showcase Pole Fitness!  With us promoting Pole Fitness and all we could not leave out a pole!  We had our handy dandy Just Pole men help us figure out how to securely strap in our Stand Alone Pole to the back of a truck!  After they worked their magic, the pole was sturdier than ever and ready for the parade!



We were so excited yet nervous at the same time knowing the stereo types about Pole but to our surprise we were a huge hit!

We mainly showed the fitness aspect of Pole Fitness staying far away from the stereo typical thought of what pole is:).  We could tell a lot of people were really intrigued by it.

Regardless, we had a blast sharing our Pole Love with everyone there as well as Poling in a moving truck!


This was such a great experience and we cannot wait until the next event to share our love for Pole Fitness and change everyone's thoughts of it as well!  Please feel free to share with us just how you have done the same or plan too!  We love hearing about how other's share their love:).  Have a wonderful day and Pole on!

What's in the Pole World News: Mothers Redefining Beauty!

Aloha Polers and Pole Supporters!  It's What's in the Pole World News Wednesday and today's topic is on Mother's Redefining Beauty!

Today I saw a post by X-Pole and thought this would be such an awesome thing to share for many reason.  It is inspiring, eye opening and could change someones life.  The post explained that 79% of mother's suffer from personal, emotional and physical challenges that include low self-esteem.  This is all true and some of these mother's get close to becoming suicidal because of the listed above after pregnancy.  Please go to the following link to read more on this and share this video with all of your friends to spread the word.

Stretchy Sunday's: Straddle Stretch!

Aloha Polers and Pole Supporters!  It's Stretchy Sunday's and today's stretch is the oh so familiar Straddle!



The Straddle is a stretch that we all have done in some form either standing or seated.  The Straddle is a great stretch to add to stretch out your legs as well as your lower back and to get closer to your middle split.  The following are a guideline to proper do a Straddle (seated):

  1. Have a seat on the floor with your legs out straight in front of you.
  2. Open your legs as wide to the sides as you can without trying to force them open.
  3. At that point, this is where you will be unless you feel they can open some more.
  4. Make sure you are sitting on your sits bone by sitting up straight with your chest up and pelvis untucked.
  5. Engage your quads, straighten your legs so that your knees are not bent and point your toes.
  6. If you feel like you are not getting a stretch, open your legs a bit more until you do.
From this point of the Straddle, you can add various stretches such as a side stretch for each side as well as a more intense stretch by lowering your torso in between your legs while keeping your pelvis untucked.  Always remember:
  1. Listen to your body!  If it hurts, don't do it:)
  2. If you are going for flexibility, hold this stretch for at least 30 seconds:)
  3. Drink plenty of water even while stretching since this is as well a form of exercise:)
  4. Before flexibility stretching, make sure your body is warm enough.  It is a bad idea to do such long and intense stretching when your body is cold, you could pull a muscle:)
  5. The more often you stretch, the closer to your flexibility goal you will get:)
  6. Always make sure you are doing a stretch properly, improper stretching can cause injury:)

Fitness Friday's: Holiday Fatigue Setting in?

Aloha Polers and Pole Supporters!! It's Fitness Friday and today's topic is Holiday Fatigue!


You're probably thinking, Holiday Fatigue?  What's that?  Holiday Fatigue to me is that feeling you get during the Holiday's when you are overly stuffed, stressed or lacking sleep and you just do not have the  urge to get your workout on anymore.  I have totally been here and HATE IT!  There are many ways to keep the Holiday Fatigue away!  Here are some tips that have personally helped me:

  • Eat normally!  Just because it is the Holiday's doesn't mean it's okay to eat whatever you want and you be the same.  Majority of Holiday foods cause this fatigue.  Stay smart and eat more healthy than Holiday:)
  • Breathe!  Stress is a given during this time for many reasons.  Remember, take a couple of deep breaths and let it go:)
  • Workout!  Working out will help with relieving your stress and will also give you energy:)
  • Time Management!  Time management is very important and more so during the Holiday's.  Make sure to manage your time well and get done what needs to get done especially sleep:)
  • Holiday Chocolates & Cookies are NOT a meal!  No replacing meals for these treats, you need all the nutrients you can get now:)
  • Treat yourself!  Treat yourself to a relaxing massage or facial, you deserve it:)
  • POLE!  get your pole on and all is well;)
These are just tips that helped me but many more out there:).  Regardless, take care of yourselves this Holiday Season and your bodies will take care of you.  Have a wonderful Holiday Season!
